Excelsior Academy Catering

Our meals service complies with all guidance for healthy eating in schools as recommended by the School Food Trust. All of the food we serve is fresh with 99% cooked and prepared in our own kitchens. We have been awarded the highest level of food hygiene standard - five stars.

Our pricing is consistent with Newcastle City Council's pricing policy for school meals.

Our pricing is as follows:

“Chef’s Special”
Hot main meal including halal options with EITHER a carton of juice OR a pudding
£1.85

“Packed Lunch Deal”
A fresh sandwich of your choice, with a carton of juice and EITHER a biscuit OR fruit bag
£1.60

“Pasta King /Chicken Joes Deal”
Either a Pasta King pot or a Chicken Joes with EITHER a carton of juice OR a fruit bag OR a biscuit
£1.85

All other main food items are priced individually and range from 75p for soup to £1.65 for a main meal
Drinks are available from 40p to 70p

Dessert prices range from 25p for fruit pots to 75p for a cake.
