Excelsior Academy has received a very positive report following its first full OfSTED Inspection on 12th and 13th January 2011.
Some of the many positive findings include:
• Leadership and management, curriculum and care guidance and support are "clear strengths"
• Community Cohesion - the quality of relationships between pupils and staff within the Academy and with our many partners and the wider community is outstanding and described as exemplary.
• Pupils have positive attitudes to learning and their behaviour is good
• Excelsior is providing rapidly improving education and attainment is rising quickly.
